Ray Doherty is well known as the guitarist with Brendan Bowyer and The Big 8 show band which played in The Stardust Hotel in Las Vegas during the 1970s.

He was also privileged to actually see Elvis in concert at the Hilton Hotel during this time.

An accomplished musician and singer Ray is delighted to join the cast of "My Boy Elvis" for what for him will be a new venture into the world of the musical. Ray’s deep voice makes him ideal for the part of Johnny Cash.
